Dear Doctor,
Because you are in the pet health care industry, you owe it to yourself and especially your patients to attend one of the most eye-opening workshops you will have the opportunity to attend this year. As a veterinarian, I was shocked and dismayed to learn how much misinformation I had been giving my clients.
I first became interested in the teachings of Bill Meisterfeld after reading the book "JellyBean vs. Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde." This book outlines Mr. Meisterfeld's basic philosophy and also contains several case histories of problem dogs that were rehabilitated. I found it fascinating. When I learned that Mr. Meisterfeld was giving a seminar in my area, I jumped at the chance to attend.
Where else do we, as veterinarians, have the opportunity to learn about canine behavior from someone who has rehabilitated nearly 3,000 dogs? Bill Meisterfeld has truly been a life saver for most of these dogs. I ask you to scrutinize your own attitudes. Have you ever recommended euthanasia for a problem dog? How many times have you neutered animals to decrease aggression? How many times have clients described their pet biting someone?
If you attend this workshop, not only will you learn how to get new puppies off to the right start, but you will learn how to help some of the problem dogs you are currently seeing. Learn how to approach a dog with understanding instead of a muzzle.
I have only recently begun this psychological dog training on my own dogs, but I am immensely pleased with the results. I also feel I can help my clients out in a way that I never totally felt comfortable with before. In the short time since my seminar, I feel I have gotten some problem patients on the right track. I also now see how inappropriately most people train their dogs. Provide your clients with a proven alternative by attending this most valuable seminar.
Thank you for your time,
Dr. Katheryn Hinkle, D.V.M.
