Recently I announced to my classes that you would be coming in as a guest speaker to talk about your work with dogs. Being the well known author you are, my students' response was tremendous.

As you know, I have approximately 160 students in my classes combined and I am overwhelmed at the enthusiasm my students are showing. When I announced that you would only be speaking to the last two classes during the day, my students in periods 1 - 4 were disappointed until I commented that 6th period has a few open seats. They were quickly taken and a waiting list established.

I just wanted to let you know that my students and myself are very much looking forward to your arrival.
