To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is to introduce Mr. C.W. 'Bill' Meisterfeld, Dog Psychoanalyst. I have known Bill since 1966 when I consulted him concerning my first Great Dane who had a serious behavior problem. He trained my dog and, more importantly, taught my husband and myself how to develop a long lasting relationship with our dog. That was 17 years ago; we only had one Dane at the time. Since then we have owned, bred and have shown many Great Danes, as well as Irish Wolfhounds, Pembrook Corgis and Italian Greyhounds. We also belong to an all breed club and have held most offices in the Great Dane Club of Northern California, including president. Through these years a warm, friendly relationship has grown with Bill. We have exchanged experiences and worked together on many projects. He is also the one that encouraged us to show.

I think you will find Bill interesting, helpful and perhaps the most knowledgeable dog behaviorist in the field. His psychological approach is unique and I feel has made an important and lasting contribution.
